Happy Birthday to the Church... or Not!

There is a very popular teaching in Christianity today that says that the Edah(Church) of our Mashiach was born on the Shavuot(Pentecost) after the resurrection of Yeshua, ushering in the age of the Basar(Gospel) and grace.  But is this the case?  I think not.  Shaul says;

Galatians3:8  And the Scripture, foreseeing that Elohim would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Gospel to Avraham beforehand, [saying], "In you all the nations shall be blessed."

If the Basar was preached to our father Avraham how can the Edah of the Basar have been born two thousand years later?  Yeshua also said;

Yochanan(John)8:56 Your father Avraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

So we see that the Basar preached to our father Avraham was indeed the Basar of Yeshua.  And if Avraham believed in the Gospel of Yeshua, would he not be a member of the Church?  What does Steven say?

Acts7:38 This is he(Moshe), that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

So we see that Moshe and our fathers were also members of the Church!  If Steven is correct, the Church could not have been born in the first century.  The Edah of Yeshua has been since our father Adam.  The first to be saved by grace through faith!
